UPS

A UPS (uninterruptible power supply) provides clean regulated continual power to IT equipment in the event of any power surges or power cuts. Typically a UPS will keep a phone system or a computer running for several minutes following a power outage. This extra time allows your organisation to save data and shut down applications in a routinely manner.
